Youth support

With more than a week passing since Jamie Hibley died from suicide, focus is shifting to help other youth and the organizations that support them.

Ottawa's Youth Service Bureau said calls to it crisis line have spiked since the 15-year-old death, with an influx of money coming in as well.

Charles Bordeleau  with the bureau say "We're able to add a second day a week to offer kids and family who are in crisis to come and walk into the walk-in mental health clinic."

On Friday the 21 of October a fundraiser took place at a Farm in southwest of Ottawa, Canada, where Jamie worked as an actor in the Halloween display.

Jamie, who was only gay, died after living with depression and years of bullying.

If you live in Canada or by Ottawa there is a helpline for youth who need help you can call. I will post all the numbers on the side bar on this blog.

If you like to read more about this story click here.

Just remember you are not alone there is help out there and I will have Canada helpline, and even numbers in the US where you can call you get help. If you need help right now pick up the phone and call 911. Thank you for taking the time and reading this.
